Armed Forces & 999 Community Hub
About Us
Looking for a place to connect with others who’ve served? Pull up a sandbag and join us for a NATO standard brew and a proper chat!
Our hub is a dedicated space for the entire blue light and military family—including reservists, adult cadet instructors, merchant navy, police, paramedics, NHS staff, and all families and dependants.
What can you expect?
It is all about the “6 Cs”: Community, Connection, Commemoration, Care, Compassion, and Companionship.
It is a brilliant opportunity to:
• Socialise and swap stories with others who “get it.”
• Network with local and national organisations.
• Discuss challenges and help shape the services our community needs.
• Raise awareness for the Armed Forces Covenant right here in South Normanton.
Where: The Post Mill Centre, Off Market Street, South Normanton, DE55 2EJ
When: Every Monday
Time: 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Contact: armed.forces@derbyshire.gov.uk
Come for the tea, stay for the community. We look forward to seeing you there!
